Forever Resorts Expands Marina Operations in Arizona With Acquisition of Temple Bar Marina in Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Scottsdale, Arizona - Temple Bar Marina, LLC, a Forever Resort, announced today they have signed an agreement with Seven Resorts adding Temple Bar Marina to its family of companies. Temple Bar Marina, LLC, a Forever Resort, will assume operations from Seven Resorts effective June 1, 2006.

"Today is a great day for Forever Resorts customers and team members. The acquisition of Temple Bar Marina is a beneficial combination for our resort operations," stated John Schoppmann, Forever Resorts Executive Vice President. "Along with our other location on Lake Mead at Callville Bay Marina, Temple Bar provides Arizona residents and visitors another access to Lake Mead and will enhance our ability to provide a new Arizona houseboating and vacation destination many do not know exists," said Schoppmann.

Temple Bar Marina is the only resort on the Arizona side of Lake Mead, in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. This eastern Lake Mead operation includes a full service marina, restaurant overlooking the lake, convenience store, lake view motel, fishing cabins, dry storage, ski boat rentals, and RV sites. Charlie Moreland, general manager at Temple Bar Marina, will remain as general manager of the operation.

Future plans for the marina includes adding a fleet of the luxury Forever Houseboats, a custom rental boat made by Fun Country Marine Industries, Inc. a manufacturer in Muncie, Indiana.

"This part of Lake Mead is one of the most spectacular locations to see giant monolith rock formations like Napoleons Tomb, Mushroom Rock and The Temple virtually rising from the lake" said Darla Cook, spokesperson for Forever Resorts. "The close proximity of Temple Bar Marina to Hoover Dam, with easy access from Phoenix or Las Vegas, makes this a wonderful new hideaway for Arizonians. Temple Bar Marina will provide a new spectacular houseboating alternative to those wanting to have a chance to houseboat into the west end of the Grand Canyon," stated Cook.

"Seven Resorts has a long time legacy of providing guests to Temple Bar friendly service and well maintained facilities. This acquisition will be an excellent complement to Forever Resorts," said Schoppmann.

Temple Bar Marina is located on the Arizona side of Lake Mead, 28 miles off Hwy. 93 in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The turn-off is just 20 miles South of Hoover Dam, and 65 miles North of Kingman, AZ.
